Entering the Real World

Hello and welcome to my blog! And if you're at my blog, then you must have reached it through my new professional website so welcome to that as well!

After graduating from the University of South Carolina at the beginning of May, I am so excited about entering the real world and finding my first professional job.

So far it has just been sending out resumes, phone interviews, many rejection emails, and one in-person interview. While it hasn't been easy getting that first job I'm trying to remain positive and at least enjoy my time working part-time and getting to spend time with family and pets that I probably won't get with my first job.

I also have spent my time starting to work on my own stuff (photography and hopefully soon a few videos) to make sure I'm not losing or getting stagnant with any of the skills and artistic eye I've gotten from school.

And hence why there's a new blog and a website, as well as my photography page on Facebook that you should totally check out to see some of my pictures.

Soon I will be updating all of these pretty regularly with media I've created myself, as well as blog posts that will focus mainly on film/ media, and maybe even some exciting news about being hired somewhere (fingers crossed it happens soon!).
